Vivian Blu teams up with Vouge and CFDA

When I think of all of the people affected by COVID-19 due to pre existing upper respiratory conditions, it scares me. I have family, business associates, customers and friends who live with chronic asthma daily. . . . People with moderate to severe asthma may be at higher risk of getting very sick from COVID-19. COVID-19 can affect your respiratory tract (nose, throat, lungs), cause an asthma attack, and possibly lead to pneumonia and acute respiratory disease. I think of the isolation they must feel, one that we all feel. I know I do.

Though, I understand the importance of social distancing during this time, I miss being around other creatives. I miss the laughter and fun that comes with mistakes. I miss the comradery of models during runways and the almost church like gathering of artists and the sharing of information.

Because there is currently no specific treatment for or vaccine to prevent COVID-19. The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. 

In an effort to assist those higly impacted by COVID-19 Vivian Blu has partnered with Vouge and CFDA on a project called  A Common Thread, a fundraising initiative that tells of the struggles and hopes of the fashion community [via video platform].
